The Carezza Trail
Dolomites Trail and Bike Olympus
For real mountain biking adventures, head for Carezza! Just 20 minutes from the city of Bolzano is a bike trail in the midst of the Dolomites: the bike trail through the wild Val Nigra!
Flow, flow, flow!
This flowing adventure begins where the cable car brings mountain bikers up from Nova Levante directly to the Catinaccio massif, part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Dolomites: once arrived at the Frommer Alm, bikers can then follow the 4.4-km trail along a mountain stream, through forests and across meadows. With its bridges, jumps, steep & banked curves and northshores, this trail is an exhilarating experience. And, for more variety, there is a special trail section featuring smaller and larger drops, tables and jumps.
This bike trail adds a flowing freeride descent to the popular Latemar Round and is an absolute must for tour and enduro riders!
On your pedals, get set – BIKE!
But there is plenty more besides! At the top station of the Nova Levante cable car there is a recently-opened training park created by the experts from T&B factory. A thrilling place to improve your bike skills, it features a pump track and jumpline, not to mention switchbacks, a rock garden, drops, curves (banked and un-banked), steps, balance northshores and obstacles for learning how to bunnyhop. A training park that truly puts bikers through their paces!
