The culinary side to skiing

The recipe for a perfect day's skiing? Take the best snow and piste conditions, plenty of sunshine, views of the Dolomites and, in true South Tyrolean style, turn it all into a culinary event!

The Carezza ski area offers everything to satisfy both the heart and the appetite, from charming and traditional huts right next to the piste all the way up to award-winning restaurants.

Carezza, tenerezza

on your plate, in your glass

With rustic ski huts, cosy restaurants and hip bars, there are around 20 sun terraces at well-run hostelries serving everything by way of specialities that South Tyrolean and Italian cuisine can offer. Whether at the summit, halfway down or at the valley station, you can find hearty Tyrolean mountain fare and Mediterranean cuisine - for a quick snack or as something truly special. Or even something sweet - strudel, cake or fritters perhaps?

A feast for the eyes – food with a view!

Snow-covered peaks and the spires of the Dolomites; the glittering winter realm of the Latemar massif, the evening play of colour across the Catinaccio range - and in the midst of all this are the huts and mountain inns, with no fewer than 20 ski huts all easily reached from the slopes, waiting to feed the hungry, the curious and the demanding alike with tasty treats from South Tyrol – and plenty of them!
