Winter walks made even easier– on snowshoes!

Snowshoe excursions in the Dolomites are more than just an alternative to skiing! Whether you are looking for a sporting challenge or simply for relaxation, lightweight snowshoes - ciaspole in Italian - distribute your weight so you do not sink into the snow. Then it’s off to visit a cosy Alpine hut with views of the Latemar and Catinaccio massifs, awe-inspiring in their sheer beauty. A “ciaspolata” is an experience for all the senses - practically no previous knowledge is required. Whether firn or powder snow, any thickness or type of snow is suitable for snowshoeing.
